Namdaemun, in Korean "great south gate" has been destroyed, burned in a fire ... it was one of the four city gates and was part of the city walls that surrounded Seoul 700 years ago.
I had visited in June 2007 ... it was near a large market of Seoul in the south of the city ... I was there in the past and I took a picture (the second picture above).
The second is the gate, it is now, after the fire.
Over the centuries had been destroyed, will now be rebuilt.
